ASSISTANT MANAGER PLANTATIONS (GINIGATHHENA)

The ideal candidate should be able to supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the divisions of the estate allocated and should be able to take charge of Palm Oil, Cinnamon, and other mixed crop plantations whilst ensuring management of all agricultural aspects as per the SOPs including nurseries, harvesting, upkeep, etc. Further, he will be responsible for the maintenance of the road network including bridges & culverts, and building strong relationships with the surrounding villages while performing within the given budget.

Common Criteria

Possess strong communication and social skills (all three languages preferred)

Ability to work independently with minimum supervision

Exposure to Palm Oil cultivation and other crops such as Cinnamon, Tea, Rubber, etc. will be an added advantage

Specific Criteria

Should be organized. pragmatic, proactive, and result-oriented personality

Bachelor¾ degree in agriculture or equivalent qualification is a must

More than 5 years of experience in the plantation sector
